What is darkness? Define darkness. Darkness is a place where there's no light - night.
Some say that if you lost your eyes, your world will be complete darkness . I only agree half of it, and I will call this "physical darkness". By losing your eyes, you may have to live in a world with light, but by losing the eyes of your heart, it's when you will be completely darkness. Perhaps it should be called "mentally in darkness".
I think that many people today rely too much on their physical eyes that they forget to open the eyes of their heart. If you close your eyes, you are as good as blind.

Wat is light n wat is darkness? Purely light n purely darkness. Wat ever emotions evoked by it is the heart. Its ur heart that evokes all kind of emotions. Some derive pleasure happiness from light, some derive peace n calm in darkness. But light is light, darkness is darkness. They r but empty. It is ur heart that is moving. Like someone once told me, ur heart is the one that is making comparisons n giving u a conclusion.
as what you had mention, darkness best described my feeling of peace and calmness.. but probably my heart has stop moving.. seems like i can't hear the heart beat even in absolute silence..
Everyone will have darkness in one or another sometime in their lives...but just like everything...there are two sides to a coin.
You can say that your life is in darkness when everything seems to go wrong.
On the other hand..darkness can bring you a sense of calmness and peace...a time to reflect...
I agree that when you are blind...your world will be a darkness only if you want it to be...you can still see and feel with your heart...I believe you can...
